I am new to the Raleigh area and will be looking for a job very soon so that I can put a down payment on a new home. I am skilled in roofing and things like window replacement and vinyl siding installation. I have worked with remodeling companies all my life so I think it will be pretty easy to find a job here in Raleigh.

I will look for Raleigh roofers so I can ask them what the going hourly rate is before I start filling out applications. I would hope to get a decent hourly wage and some good insurance. I am experienced enough to be a foreman over a Raleigh roofing crew if necessary.

Window replacement is a good sell for folks looking for energy savings. I think it is pretty common in this area so there should be a lot of companies offering that service as well. I am able to install replacement windows by myself; I can do about one every half an hour.

I should find a job in this area pretty quickly and from there I plan to save up some money and then possibly start up my own remodeling company. I would hire some of my own Raleigh roofers and window replacement guys that could use the work.
